FORTRUST Data Center 2.0 Deployment and Powered by IO Partnership Yielding Outstanding Results

DENVER, CO, Dec 05, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- FORTRUST, the Rocky Mountain Region's premium data center and colocation services provider, is receiving delivery of additional IO.Anywhere(TM) data center modules through its "Powered by IO(R)" partnership. This expansion is due to increased demand from Data Center as a Service (DCaaS(TM)) customers for the high density, secure and efficient modular solution in its Denver multi-tenant data center.


FORTRUST and IO will be exhibiting at the Gartner Data Center Conference this week in Las Vegas where IO is showcasing an IO.Anywhere module. Sales representatives from both companies will be providing tours of the data module to attendees. Rob McClary, Vice President of FORTRUST, states, "The technology is best understood upon viewing a data module in person. The opportunity to personally tour attendees through the technology is invaluable." The IO.Anywhere data modules are a fully integrated data center technology that provides unprecedented flexibility, reliability and energy efficiency. The modules are purpose-built technology and provide customers a solution that can accommodate high power densities and an increased level of security for their IT environments. The modular technology allows for increased rack densities of 400-800 watts per square foot. McClary states, "The just in time delivery of the IO.Anywhere data modules through our 'Powered by IO partnership' enables FORTRUST to add capacity in 200kW and 400kW increments within 60 days of customer demand. We are finding the new technology has generated increased interest among both current and prospective customers with higher power density requirements." FORTRUST has already installed customers in the data modules they deployed in their Denver data center upon initial install. FORTRUST has ordered additional modules through their partnership with IO and have currently pre-signed customers for additional data module deployment. Additional data modules will continue to be added over time in FORTRUST's flagship Denver facility as demand continues.

FORTRUST also is preparing for new customer migration into data modules in the IO Phoenix facility.
