Traditional players have little hope
Feb 03, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- REA Group, Foxtel and News Corporation will be among the first media companies to release their earnings results in the week to 8 February 2013. Foxtel is expected to release subdued subscriber growth figures, but analysts said investors will focus on trading updates and revenue trends. UBS Global Asset Management portfolio manager Jakov Males said the media sector will continue to struggle in the long-term.
