Market Maker Surveillance Report. WFC, CSCO, GFI, F, NGD, FNMA, Highest Net Buy Volume With Lowest Price Friction For Friday, March 15th 2013

Mar 18, 2013 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 3909 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2681 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2791 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. WELLS FARGO & COMPANY (NYSE:WFC), CISCO SYSTEMS INCORPORATED (NASDAQ:CSCO), Gold Fields Ltd (NYSE:GFI), Ford Motor Co (NYSE:F), New Gold Inc (AMEX:NGD), Federal National Mortgage Association (OTC:FNMA). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction WFC $1.220 3.31% 19,842,947 36.23% 14,638,575 26.73% 5,204,372 42,659 CSCO $0.300 1.39% 26,331,373 47.41% 16,436,086 29.59% 9,895,287 329,843 GFI $0.120 1.46% 9,522,397 65.06% 2,036,640 13.91% 7,485,757 623,813 F $0.010 0.07% 30,811,986 50.59% 11,750,736 19.29% 19,061,250 19,061,250 NGD $0.010 0.11% 6,761,206 78.19% 630,635 7.29% 6,130,571 6,130,571 FNMA $0.105 35.49% 28,567,274 58.26% 20,090,273 40.97% 8,477,001 809,647 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows WFC with a Net Buy Volume of 5,204,372 shares and a Friction Factor of 42,659 shares. That means that it takes 42,659 more shares of buying than selling to move WFC higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
