Mississauga, ON, Sep 20, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Survalent Technology, a world leader in Smart Grid technology, announced today that they are enabling base functionality for Outage Management System (OMS) on all 500 of their worldwide systems. "We are greatly appreciative of our customer base," Mueller stated to an audience of over 200 attendees. "This is our gift back to you as part of our celebration of service to the electric utility industry for 50 years." Survalent has been in continuous operation servicing the electric utility industry since 1964.

The base functionality includes the ability to log customer calls, create outage records, assign and manage service crews, and record time and materials for repairs. Customers need to be on software maintenance and contact Survalent's technical support group to enable OMS functionality.
