Kandy Receives WebRTC Product of the Year Award for Visual Attendant

March 24, 2016

Kandy.io is an award-winning communications platform as a service (cPaaS) from GENBAND. It celebrated its one year milestone back in September and managed to achieve impressive success in only a year. It combines the simplicity of Web and mobile applications with enterprise-grade, real  time communications to make creating new communications applications faster and more cost effective for developers.

Considering the company’s success and the effectiveness of the Kandy platform, it’s not at all surprising that its Visual Attendant for Enterprises and Carriers has been selected as a 2016 WebRTC Product of the Year Award Winner by TMC.

"The digital economy is changing everything about the way business is done—innovation is the name of the game and Kandy enables businesses to remake, remap and remodel their digital outcomes," said Paul Pluschkell, Kandy’s founder. "Our Kandy Wrappers, customized, all-in-one bundled APIs, help our customers increase engagement and customer satisfaction, building revenue streams quickly with rapid service creation."

Visual Attendant is a WebRTC application designed to help carriers and enterprises alike to grow their market. Communications service providers (CSPs) especially can benefit from Visual Attendant, replacing declining toll-free revenue with menu-based, click-to-connect services. With Visual Attendant’s WebRTC capabilities, enterprises can reduce the time each customer service representative needs to spend on each call as it immediately places them in the context of the interaction. For customers, this means a simpler and more satisfying experience.

Kandy Wrappers, meanwhile, accelerate the embedded communications deployment for companies of any size, while helping them to differentiate their product and service offerings and facilitate engagement and collaboration.

"Since its launch just 18 months ago Kandy has been innovating at breakneck speed," said TMC CEO Rich Tehrani. "I'm thrilled to honor Visual Attendant with a Web RTC Product of the Year award and look forward to seeing how they will continue to innovate and empower their customers."
