April 26, 2016

From its Platform as a Service, Kandy, and WebRTC gateway, to providing unified communications and network transformation, GENBAND is an industry leader in offering real time communications and beyond. Not just because the proper infrastructure needs to be in place, but for exceptional interactions it should be paired with an exceptional endpoint. Yealink announced today that it successfully completed interoperability testing with the real time communication leader’s Nuvia Cloud UC service as well as the GENBAND Application Server.

Stone Lu Vice President at Yealink exclaimed, “By collaborating closely with GENBAND, we are making it easier to deliver advanced technologies to GENBAND’s customers. Assuring that our SIP endpoints deliver the tangible benefits our partners and customers expect.”

Yealink’s entire portfolio of IP phones and endpoints including the W52P DECT phone, the T2 and T4 series of IP desktop phones as well as the CP860 conference phone are now available to GENBAND customers and resellers. In addition, several Yealink IP phones also completed compatibility testing with GENBAND’s C20 and C15 Call Session Controllers. These include the SIP-T41P, SIP-T42G, SIP-T46G, SIP-T48G and the W52P DECT phone.

Carl Baptiste, Senior Vice President of Unified Communications and Enterprise Solutions at GENBAND noted, “Yealink has worked diligently with our team to enhance interoperability and assure a positive experience for our customers. It is no surprise that given the breadth of the Yealink portfolio that our list of joint customers continues to grow.”

Built on ambition and innovation, Yealink has focused on addressing the communications needs of the SMB up to the enterprise. Its CP860 Diamond IP Conference Phone is feature rich and provides high quality audio to ensure your next audio conference isn’t held back by the endpoint. In addition, the W52P DECT phone addresses the requirement in verticals like retail, manufacturing or hospitality that require employees to remain productive while mobile. And from a desktop IP phone standpoint, Yealink’s portfolio is second to none on the market today.

“We are pleased to offer GENBAND’s service provider customers and enterprise resellers our full portfolio of solutions,” said Yealink Vice President Stone Lu.  “This is the direct result of strong cooperation between our organizations. Yealink’s philosophy when developing business products is to focus on meeting an employee’s true communication needs.”

Collaboration makes the business world go ‘round. And as communications transforms via innovation, it is important to provide firms with tools that not only meet need, but out-do expectations. This duo is primed and poised for a bright future and is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
